IFS provides fund accounting, administration, tax, compliance and middle office trade support services to hedge fund managers. IFS combines its experienced teams of trained financial service professionals with sophisticated software development talent to create a superior trade support infrastructure that features Straight-Through-Processing (STP) and real-time information. The responsibilities of the operations group is to provide clients with portfolio pricing, trade allocation, confirmation, correction and settlement, prime broker interfaces, repo processing and cash management.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Data reconciliation and exception reporting
- Ability to follow relevant policies and controls, daily.
- Strong working knowledge of excel.
- Exposure to corporate action across asset classes.
- Product knowledge to include derivatives & fixed income.
- Time management and multi-tasking ability.
- Problem solving skills and ability to display initiative essential.
Job Requirements
-Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
- 1-2 years hedge fund accounting experience to include understanding of General Ledger entries
- Working knowledge of excel.
- Exposure to audits, allocations, pricing, corporate action, and fee calculation.
- Derivatives knowledge a plus.
- CPA is a plus.
