BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR-FOODSERVICE REWARDS-EAST COAST

BI is currently seeking a talented sales person to join our Coalition Marketing Division, Foodservice Rewards team. The Business Development Director is responsible for new business development with Foodservice manufacturers located on the East Coast.  The Business Development Director identifies potential clients, develops an account entry strategy, conducts the prospecting campaign, develops relationships and understands the business/performance issues that contribute to the client’s critical strategic business objectives.

 

Interested candidates will have the following attributes:

  • Can quickly build strong personal rapport with prospects, customers, and internal team members
  • Are driven, self sufficient and naturally competitive-“loves to win"
  • Can lead and motivate a team of resources who don’t directly report to them
  • Intuitively understand how decisions are made in the client’s organization
  • Have a natural curiosity for business and a passion for exceptional customer service.

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications include:

  • Six to ten years of direct B2B sales experience calling on large companies with complex buying processes.
  • Clear history of new business development by PROSPECTING and growing revenue in multiple business-to-business accounts.
  • Experience in the foodservice industry is a plus.
  • Strong database marketing background utilizing web-based tools.
  • Large volume sales experience ($100k plus per sale)
  • Experience with broad range of sales cycles (three to six to twelve months)
  • History of career stability with a maximum of three jobs in the last ten years
  • Compensation derived through highly leveraged commissions and bonuses
  • Four year college degree required, advanced degree a plus
