Sr. Financial Analyst - MSR Valuation, at Mount Laurel

Job Summary:

Perform regular and ad hoc valuations on the MSR asset as well as oversight / review of specific aspects of MSR analysis. The analyst will have a thorough understanding of valuation assumption sets as well as understanding underlying cash flows. This position will have responsibility for the month end functions related to the creating of, and accounting for, the MSR asset.

Specific Duties May Include:

Perform or review daily, weekly and monthly valuations and reporting on the MSR asset.
Perform or review valuation scenarios on the MSR on an ad hoc basis.
Perform testing of upgrades or changes to the MSR valuation software and models.
Prepare or review weekly pricing and mark to market servicing grids for Capital Markets.
Prepare or review monthly valuation analyses and related general ledger journal entries for the MSR as part of the monthly financial close process.
Prepare or review quarterly schedules related to fair value disclosures reported in the 10Q and 10K documents.
Compile supporting documentation as requested by internal, external, and Sarbanes Oxley auditors.

Requirements
Required Experience:

B.S. in Finance or related discipline with MBA preferred
3-5 years of finance experience
Capital markets background in valuation / analysis of fixed income securities and / or other financial instruments preferred.

Excellent quantitative skills including statistical analyses and financial modeling
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft SQL, MS Excel and MS Access
