Job Classification: Direct Hire Our client, a large international financial institution in Jersey City, is looking to hire a Senior Application Security Analyst to join their team on a full time basis.This person will be part of a team that is responsible for the ongoing assessment of software systems used in the business environment. The assessment process emphasizes compliance with internal and external information security requirements. This person will provide analysis based upon relevant information security threats and knowledge of widely accepted standards of practice such as ISO 27002, NIST 800-53, and OWASP. They will request and specify security testing to identify technical vulnerabilities. They will advise and collaborate with the various lines of business to manage information risks to acceptable levels by recommending specific controls and providing information security input during the early stages of the software development lifecycle.Candidates must have solid experience with web application security and performing code reviews. Candidate must have knowledge of information security risk management frameworks such as ISO, NIST, and OWASP. Candidates should have a background in either software development or network security.This position is located in Jersey City and is easily commutable by public transportation.
