Quality Engineer - Electronics at Montvale

Job Description

• Permanent position for a Quality Assurance Engineer for electronics manufacturing.
• Analyze customer technical complaints, test samples, prepare Failure Analysis and Corrective actions, and reply to customer.
• Determine root cause analysis and communicate results with our over seas factory and vendors.
• Request and monitor vendor implementation of Corrective Actions to ensure correction of their process or specifications to prevent future failures.
• Must have strong organization skills to oversee multiple issues and confirm results.
• Participate in teleconference or personal meetings with clients to review complaints and products construction or design to help close the concerns.
• Review and or approve our product specification documentation.
• Analyze and Test defective power supplies or associated components/electronics using test equipment.
• Utilize electronic schematics and diagrams.

Job Requirements

• BS - Engineering or equivalent experience with Electronics Manufacturing.
• Minimum of 5 years experience with quality assurance engineering.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literate.
• Experience with regulatory agencies to secure regulatory approvals such as UL, CB to 60950 and 60601 for Power Supplies or related products are a plus.
• Electronic experience to Analyze and Test defective power supplier or associated components/electronics using test equipment is a plus.
• The ability to read and understand electronic schematics and diagrams is a plus.
