Field Sales Representative - South New Jersey at Hoboken

Job Description

As a new Entera Health Specialty Sales Representative in thesouthern New Jerseyarea, you will have a unique opportunity to launch a new unique product EnteraGam to targeted Gastroenterology based customers. Your task is to act as the primary customer contact for creating demand through the execution of sales and marketing strategies. You will provide comprehensive information about EnteraGam to your base of customers while communicating EnteraGams clinical and economical benefits.


Sales Professionals will be expected to achieve and exceed territory sales objectives while building, growing and developing relationships with your target customers. Ideal candidates will possess 2 5 years of B2B sales, up to 2-3 years of small/medium pharmaceutical sales, a track record of success in previous sales positions.


Successful specialty sales reps at Entera Health have the utmost in ethics and integrity, have an entrepreneurial mindset, adept negotiating skills, strong business acumen skills, and a genuine interest in making a difference via the launch of a new company (Entera Health) and the launch of a unique product. Job Duties:

  • Daily, in-territory travel to educate and sell targeted physicians in offices to discuss Entera Health products
  • Interest in disease states and health related conditions applicable to Entera Health products
  • Develop and implement a territory-specific strategic business a defined geographic territory.
  • Capitalize on personal strengths to build relationships with key customers where education, promotion, and consultative service can thrive.
  • Leverage the use of company provided resources (i.e., SFA tools, analytic data sources, clinical studies, etc.) to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Strict adherence to pharmaceutical regulatory compliance in a variety of business critical areas such as PDMA sample accountability, product messaging/claims, expense management and aggregate spending to prescribers.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies.
  • Works well in a competitive team environment.

Job Requirements

  • Speak effectively and communicate clearly in a professional medical setting with groups of people of individually one-on-one.
  • Understand and communicate accurate technical information.
  • Manage and maintain confidential information such as new product information, research development, and personnel records.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 2 years successful B2B outside sales experience with an affinity for technical knowledge
  • This position requires the mental and interpersonal capabilities to apply and communicate advanced medical expertise in a professional medical environment
  • Minimum acceptable motor vehicle record history. Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) are checked prior to hire and semi-annually thereafter to ensure compliance.
  • Criminal background check executed as a condition of employment.
  • Must have ability to utilize personal vehicle for designated business use and maintain minimum acceptable level of personal automobile insurance. Business use of personal vehicle will be reimbursed in the form of a monthly fixed and variable car allowance.
