QA Test Analyst - Senior at Jersey

Job Description

Genesis10 is actively seeking a Senior QA Test Analyst with a background in data warehouse testing for a contract opportunity with our direct client, an international investment bank, locatedin Jersey City, NJ.

Summary:

• Create automated test scripts using QTP
• Execute test scripts and document test results
• Verify test execution results and update traceability matrix
• Document defects with detailed descriptions and supporting information Report progress to test manager and project team

Job Requirements

• Proven experience in carrying out the responsibilities listed above.
• Strong knowledge of testing principles and techniques.
• 6-7 years of experience in creating and executing automated test scripts for complex business applications, preferably in the Banking domain.
• Good ETL (e.g. Informatica) and Data Warehouse (DWH) testing experience.
• Good UNIX skills.
• Experience with Batch Process Testing.
• Experience in the testing GUI applications.
• Experience with HP Quality Center, specifically the Test Plan, Test Lab and Defect modules.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, particularly in a multi-cultural environment.
