Senior Cognos Developer/ Cognos Architect at Parsippany

Job Description

Title: Senior Cognos Developer/ Cognos Architect
Location: Berkeley Heights NJ or Parsippany NJ
Duration: 3-6 months

• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in Cognos suite of products
• Should have prior experience in developing models using Framework .
• Must have advanced expertise in Framework . E.g defining cardinality rules, aggregation and determinants for designing multi-grain reports.
• Must have had prior experience in developing Dashboards using Report Studio.
• Should have prior experience in building Powerplay cubes and Report Studio reports that run against Powerplay cubes.
• Experience in Relational databases such as Oracle, Sql Server etc is required.
• Hands on experiences in data modeling for data warehouse and business intelligence environments. Must have a good familiarity in Star Schema Principles.
• Good communication, analytical and problem solving skills is a must.
