Employee Benefits Specialist at Moorestown

Our Benefits office located in Moorestown, NJ is looking for two Associates. As an Associate, you will learn about the core responsibilities of our employee benefit plans as you respond to customer service requests from BAYADA employees.

1. Demonstrate and communicate the core values of BAYADA and
The BAYADA Way.
2. Develop working knowledge of BAYADAs mission, services, people, organization, policies and procedures.
3. Learn various aspects of organization through technology training, hands-on learning, cross-training and site visits.
4. Ensure accurate completion of clerical functions such as the routine maintenance of reliable employee census, records, and reports.
5. Understand the companys benefits policies as well as the laws governing mandatory insurance coverage in order to comply with legal requirements and to establish competitive benefit programs.
6. Act as a trusted advisor and provide information to the companys employees with regard to benefit program eligibility, provisions, and limitations.
7. Provide customer service for routine Benefit questions, and direct more complex issues to BAYADAs claims resolution partner.
8. Assist in the creation and management of policies, practices and procedures related to BAYADAs Benefits office.
9. Demonstrate proficiency with office specific software (Benefitfocus; Great Plains).
10. Support annual audits and compliance reviews, as needed.
11. Support leadership in making recommended benefit plan changes to the companys Management Committee.
12. Initiate and independently research complex information through compilation of statistics, analyzing data and summarizing findings for review.
13. Participate in special projects: prepare reports and presentations using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint etc.).
14. Develop and/or coordinate articles for the BAYADA Bulletin, as requested.
15. Draft and distribute professional benefit offering announcements and brochures.
16. Support the team (office and company) and provide back up as needed.
17. Coordinate event logistics.

The successful candidate must be highly motivated and possess the desire to grow within our organization. This role requires superior communication in an efficient and timely manner, excellent customer service, the ability to take initiative and work independently, in addition to superior interpersonal and computer skills. We require a Bachelors degree; 1 to 2 years benefits and/ customer service call center experience a plus.
