Devereux New Jersey is seekingaFULL TIME Program Supervisor forourgroup homeinManchester,NJ. The Program Supervisor will assist in the planning and implementation of recreational, social and other developmental programs for clients. They also supervise and counsel clients during free time and planned activities, and assume leadership responsibilities in the group home they are assigned to.

The hours for thispositionare Flexible.Thepay ratestarts at $13.19 hour and is commensurate with relevantexperience and education.

What YOU will be doing:

• Leading and guiding residential staff in assessing client strengths and needs in relevant development areas through observation and assessment tools in accordance with Center guidelines.

• Leading and supervising staff activity with clients.

• Adhering to the Policies and Procedures of The Devereux Foundation and the Center. Monitor the administration of medication.

• Performs other duties, special assignments and projects as requested or required by the Center management

Job Requirements

To qualify, we require our Program Supervisor to:

• Have a Bachelors Degree in Human Services, Sociology, Special Education, Counseling or Psychology OR
• Associates Degree with TWO years related experience in a health care field OR
• High School/GED with FOUR years related experience in a health care field.
• Have a valid NJ Drivers License
• Be 21 years or older
• Be flexible, patient, energetic, creative, and have a sense of humor.
• Have a strong passion for working withand helping children and adults with special needs.
• Valid drivers license.
