Trade Funds Analyst at Ewing

Overview:

We currently have an excellent opportunity for2 Trade Fund Analysts located at our Ewing, NJ headquarters.

Summary:

Reporting to Sales - Finance, the role of the Trade Funds Analyst (TFA)is to assure integrity in the Siebel Trade Funds Management system. The TFA achieves this through delving in to customer promotional plans, reviewing plans for correctness, timely updating, and maintaining an excellent relationship with field personnel to assure the data in Siebel is reflected accurately. Additionally, TFAs provide advanced analysis on data relating to over and under spending, offer solutions on how to correct problems that span multiple retailers, business units and/or brands. The TFA also works closely with cross functional groups to consolidate and provide reporting on the overall trade situation on a national basis.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure system accuracy by working with field sales and the internal Customer development team.
• Identify and analyze both sales & spending variances for top 25 planning account vs. brand.
• Interact directly with the Field sales group with regards to business plan variances.
• Analyze and track root causes for sales and spending errors in system.
• Conduct cross-functional meetings to discuss forecasted variances.
• Train all end users; internal sales, marketing, field sales, etc.
• Develop monthly executive summary for Sales Management

Job Requirements

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university in finance, accounting, or closely related field required.
• 1-3 years experience in an analytical capacity preferred.
• Superb computer skills, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of the Sales environment in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry a plus.
• Outstanding analytical skills.
• Ability to travel (10%-15%)
