Senior Investor Accountant at Mount Laurel

The Senior Accountants responsibilities include preparation and distribution of remittance statements. Ensure that deliverables comply with contract and SLA requirements and professional standards. Provide assistance to Accounting Management as requested as it pertains to audit request. Assist with client inquiries and special projects assigned by management.

Employees are required to successfully complete annual mandatory training requirements and department specific training, as defined by management.

Responsibilities include:
Perform accounting functions as assigned including, but not limited remittance reviews, daily balancing, reconcile and report servicing/sub-set.
Back-up month-end duties assigned to other Senior Accountants.
Assists in preparation of monthly management report and accompanying schedules, worksheets and narratives. Assist in providing follow-up as actions as required.
Assist with REGAB compliance preparation Quarterly and Annually.
Assist with testing and receive final approval for system reports required for management.
Coordinate and resolve various issues with bank such as NSF bank balances, and targeted balance calculations (daily balancing).
Conform with and abide by all regulatory guidance and internal policies & procedures
Document policies, procedures and workflow for assigned areas of responsibility.
Contribute to department and organization special projects as assigned.

Requirements
Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related field required, Bachelors preferred.
Four to six years progressively responsible experience in the accounting industry, preferably in the mortgage industry.
Strong analytical and accounting skills.
Intermediate to advanced experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and Access
Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment.
Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks with high level of difficulty.
