SENIOR FOREIGN TRADE COMPLIANCE EXPERT

Job Summary:  Oversee Foreign Trade to guarantee compliance with programs, procedures, and operations legislated by government laws and regulations on international trade.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Sr. Manager to on programs, policies, and operations to ensure compliance
• Scrutinize government regulations and laws
• Assist and guide BU’s in matters of import/export
• Provide training to others
• Oversee compliance audits/reviews

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s preferred
• U.S. Customhouse Brokers License required
• Extensive experience with Foreign Trade and U.S. Customs regulations
• Prior experience with managing U.S. duty drawback programs, regulations and procedures
• Understanding of Customs regulations, HTS, ECCN classifications
• Experience with FTAs, export controls regime (BIS , OFAC and ITAR)
• Familiarity of automated systems a plus
