Our client, a leading global manufacturer in the cosmetics industry is looking for a Customer Order Inventory Specialist temp for their Production Planning department.
Position Overview of Customer Order Inventory Specialist:
The Customer Order Inventory Specialist must have great computer skills and have knowledge of AS400 and JD Edwards
Responsibilities of Customer Order Inventory Specialist:
- Provide primary coverage for customer service phones on a daily basis
- Take, enter, maintain and follow up on customer orders
- Manage and maintain product orders from placement through delivery, and determining and quoting availability
- Create and maintain various files (customer master files, special instructions text files, and customer resources master files) on AS400.Prism
- Monitor Customer open order report and react as needed
- Work with Account Managers, customer service reps, product manager to resolve discrepancies found as a result of order contract review
- Handle customer complaints/concerns that includes documenting, routing, follow-up, identification of root causes and communicating corrective action to customers and account managers
- Process credits and debits
- Process returned good notices (RGN’s) and enter a concern
Job Requirements
- Must have experience with AS 400
- Must have experience in order fulfillment/management
- Understanding of shipping methods
- Experience in entering and maintaining orders
- Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills
- Must be able to commit to full length of assignment
- Experience working in Customer Service and Planning
- Proactive, self-motivated individual with an assertive and creative drive
- Positive attitude
