Job Description

Diversified Heat Transfer, Inc. is a small to mid-size Heating & Cooling manufacturing company, conducting business since 1932. We are specialized in designing, engineering and manufacturing heating, cooling and solar equipments for residential, commercial and industrial facilities. DHT is looking for a qualified Draftsman for their engineering department.

• The ability to reverse engineer a pattern or layout to preparing several views of a simple or complex assembly. 
• Obtain dimensions and tolerances from blue prints and by measuring the layout or sample. 
• Prepare and revise detail and design drawings for fabricated metal components. 
• Work closely with fabricators and management on design of products
• Ability to use formulas and equations
• Simple revisions to existing drawings may be assigned

Job Requirements

• Efficiency in AutoCAD/Solid Works is required.
• Minimum of 2 years professional experience preparing various drawings from blue prints or fabricated metal parts
• Assemblies, including various views, 2D and 3D, sectional profiles, hidden lines and small or intricate details.
• Work requires use of most of the convention drafting techniques and software with a working knowledge of the terms and procedures (in HVAC and Manufacturing a plus)
• More complex revisions are produced from sketches or specifications which clearly depict the desired product.
• Ability to work with customers, sales, and engineers on designs and fabrication of HVAC and heat exchanger equipment
• Candidate must have an ability to work independently, quickly and calmly under pressure and maintain effectiveness
• Strong time management and organization skills a must 
• Must be able to “multi-task" and adapt easily to changing priorities.
