This position is that of Deputy Assistant Program Manager Logistics in the Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) Logistics Maintenance Program Branch Code 662J, APEO (L)-(T) Tactical A/C Program Division, Logistics Management Integration Department, for the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD). The selectee is responsible for the planning, coordinating, integration and execution of the total Integrated Logistics support (ILS) efforts for the assigned program.

1. Serve as the Deputy Assistant Program Manager Logistics and Deputy Configuration Manager for Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment Logistics Maintenance Program.
- 2. Responsible for the preparation, updates and implementation of the NAVAIR PMA 251 Configuration Management Plan
- 3. Responsible for the planning and execution of Integrated Logistics Support Plans for the assigned programs.

Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled and has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities, to successfully perform duties such as; 1) Providing Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) acquisition planning and execution for assigned aviation program; 2) Formulate support and maintenance concepts for overall logistics planning and management for assigned weapon system; 3) Establish and maintain communication with external/internal contacts to ensure assigned weapon systems program needs are addressed and goals met.

REQUIREMENTS:
Generally, current Federal employees applying for GS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. This requirement is called time-in-grade.
