Purpose and Scope:Manage and supervise warehouse activities ensuring compliance with URS policies and procedures, regarding acceptance, storage, maintenance, inventory, and release of seized and forfeited property.Authority: Manages schedules and warehouse activities.Responsibilities: Oversee regional centralized storage facilities and warehouse personnel. Manage and supervise a warehouse staff including ensuring staff is adequately trained; coordinate workloads, priorities, and schedules to ensure timely and effective completion of work; monitor andevaluate staff performance. Oversee and recommend maintenance on company vehicles and equipmentin accordance with procedures and requirements Ensure proper maintenance of Government Furnished Property andEquipment (GFE & GFP) Manage and supervise warehouse operations including acceptance, storage,maintenance, inventory, and release of all property within the facility Ensure adherence to all safety, security, Conduct self-inspections and participate in all management and governmentinspections and audits of facility operations Assists in updating Disaster Recovery and Continuity of Operations Plans Prepare, manages and supervises staff during mass mobilization surgeoperations Oversees the public viewing of property in preparation for sale and auction Implement and monitor daily and monthly space utilization and take steps tomaximize space for efficiency and cost effectiveness Ensure all property is properly identified, marked, packaged, wrapped,palletized etc, and all property files and data systems are updated timely Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested. *THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD*Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Bachelors degree or equivalent training/experience; 5 years related experience. Position requiresthe individual be a U.S. citizen or have permanent lawful resident status,possess a valid drivers license and pass a background check.Safety - URS enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment.
