Job Classification: Contract Produces painted surfaces by determining painting requirements; preparing surfaces; applying paints; maintaining equipment.Capability of setting up and instructing other employees. Determines painting requirements by studying specifications.Experience in cosmetic spraying of Powder, Hi Solids & Water Reducible coatings in a paint line environment.Must be able to setup from work sheets and Engineering drawingsAbility to test and self-inspect own work Completes painting by adjusting spray guns, airbrushes, stencils, and robotic, automatic, and manual equipment. Maintains equipment by troubleshooting malfunctions; completing preventive maintenance requirements and schedules. Maintains safe conditions by following guidelines and procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous chemicals and waste. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications. Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
