Certified Home Health Aids needed - various open positions at Toms River

Job Description

Certified Home Health Aides needed to work in Ocean and Southern Monmouth County.

Must be certified in NJ. If certified out of state, we can assist you with your endorsement application. If youre not certified, we have CHHA classes to get you certified.

Duties may include:

• Assist patients with daily living and personal needs which include but are not limited to; eating, drinking, bathing, mouth care, shampooing hair, nail grooming, dressing, undressing etc.
• Transport patients if required to and from beds, chairs/wheelchairs, bedpans, commode/toilet, etc.
• Assist patients with household tasks; meal preparation; making bed, changing linen, laundry, shopping; maintain a clean and safe environment for patient.
• Accurately measure and record patient’s temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure when ordered and/or directed by supervisor.
• Report any change in patient’s condition or incidents to management immediately.
• Maintain patient’s records and information and update any files necessary as instructed by management.

Job Requirements

• Must have current homemaker-home health aide certification in good standing from NJ
• 1 year experience as Home Health Aide (preferred)
• Ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions required.
• Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, stand, kneel, stretch, walk and push for extended periods of times
