Job Description

Be part of the team providing insurance products, solutions, and services for Commercial and Personal Lines customers, including the needs of high net worth individual clients, as well as group benefits.  Join one of the largest brokers in the world with the network and resources to provide innovative and comprehensive solutions.

SUMMARY

Assist Account Executives in client servicing and marketing of new and renewal business.  Using technology, support the Account Executives in preparing applications, proposals, loss analysis, preparing correspondence to both clients and carriers, and evaluating carrier quotations.

To be successful in this position, individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Enter client/prospect data into Agency Management System (TAM)
  • Secure and prepare summaries of clients historical Loss Data (using Excel)
  • Prepare pre-renewal information for clients review and approval
  • Use online carrier rating tools to develop quotations
  • Update client proposals (Word tables)
  • Work on special projects as assigned at the direction of Account Executives and office leadership

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience using Applied Systems TAM operating systems
  • Above average working knowledge of Microsoft office products, specifically working with Word tables and Excel formulas
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem resolution
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines
  • Ability to interact with a variety of people/personalities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
