The successful candidate will be a self-starting, highly-motivated team player functioning within a team responsible for implementing and supporting clinical systems.
The position entails working effectively predominantly with physicians along with a variety of clinical users to encourage adoption and effective use of clinical information systems.
Primary responsibilities for the position include maintaining a strong, visible presence at hospital campuses, providing front-line customer support, conducting both formal and informal training and presentations, suggesting & preparing ongoing training materials & promotional material, delivering classroom instruction, and maintaining a training environment conducive to learning.
Exhibits positive interpersonal skills and is polite and courteous. Initiates service recovery when necessary. Interacts well with co-workers and customers. Demonstrates a positive image of IT at all times. Fulfills commitments to other team members. Responds to customer requests timely and efficiently, adhering to established SLAs. Regularly provides status updates to customers. Demonstrates ability to maintain calm demeanor in difficult situations.
Job Requirements
[Minimum education]Bachelors degree in health care administration, information technology or related field.

Schedules one-on-one training for Physicians as needed. Occasionally may be asked to assist in the training of nursing staff during Nursing Orientations in coordination with staff development.
Develops and conducts training programs for all Physician user types in accordance with campus curriculums. Adjusts training programs to include new applications as developed. Maintains records of all training sessions conducted. Assists in the development of training materials/tools. Meets with users to discuss training needs and requirements.
Additional responsibilities include assisting in the QA of system changes and enhancements. Keeps current with system modifications and features. Assists with application Q/A. Assists application teams with system development projects.
Must be able to work creatively and independently and consistently present a very positive image.
