Business Systems Analyst - Associate at Ewing

Job Description

Position Summary:

The Business Systems Analyst Associate works as part of a team to facilitate communication between business units throughout ETS and the IT departments, participates in the creation of cost estimates, research activities and documentation in support of IT projects. The incumbent works with the Strategic Business Unit (SBU) or Functional Center of Excellence (FCE) proposal team to develop Technical Proposal Solutions that support the requirements of the proposal and identify potential delivery solutions. The BSAA works to prepare technical responses for the client that demonstrate ETSs capabilities and proposed solutions. Additionally, the Business Analyst acts as point of contact for a specialized field.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate and participate in reporting requests between TTS and business areas within TTS or SBUs and clients.
• Maintain schedule of reports, both adhoc and scheduled
• Function as primary contact for problem analysis and resolution.
• Prepare weekly status reports, including reports on accuracy and quality of provided reports.
• Conduct review of requirements, specifications, and testing, of new report requests.
• Identify the best reporting solution for the requirements, including evaluating existing reports.
• Submit recommendations for process and or reporting enhancements that may improve productivity or quality within Test Taker Services.
• Reporting role functions as a point of contact for Test Taker Services to respond to the reporting needs for TTS data throughout the Contact Center or ETS.
• The work performed is varied and requires the determination of a work method. Accountability and risk are moderate as well since the Business Systems Analyst Reporting is a point of contact and facilitates dialogue for the reporting development process.
• Sound judgment and excellent communication and presentation skills are essential for success in this role.
• Works with a combination of ambiguous and clearly defined processes. Most of the functions are clearly defined: development, design, troubleshooting.
• Moderate level of difficulty associated with this role.
• Stakeholders include peers, department management, business units throughout TTS ,SBUs and Finance.

Job Requirements

Education, Certifications, or Special Licenses:

Bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is necessary.

Relevant Years of Experience Required:

2-4 years experience in reporting.
