Job Description

Responsibilities: Our client is seeking a Business Analyst for their Jersey City, New Jersey (NJ) location.Our client is looking for a Business Analyst within Compliance Technology with knowledge in a function or business solutions area. This position actively participates in all of the software development cycle and coordinates work across various applications, operations or LOBs as necessary to maintain or deliver the business solution.This position participates as an individual contributor on projects, completing activities as a part of a team related to special initiatives or operations.

Job Requirements

Business Analyst Qualifications:

• IT degree preferred or substantially equivalent experience
• Typically requires a minimum of 1-5 years of applicable experience

Required Skills:

• Strong interpersonal and business skills to achieve cooperation/coordination of multiple tasks being performed
• The ability to communicate effectively to multiple levels in the customer organization
• The ability to effectively deal with multiple deadline-driven, customer-sensitive projects and tasks
• Very strong time management and task prioritization skills
• The ability to communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing
• Ability to understand the software development life cycle (requirements through implementation)
