Position Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing analytical research from a variety of sources (nSAP, PeopleSoft Project Costing, CCP) into financial and business metrics in support Global Wholesale FTTC and Success Based Capital Programs. Provide weekly, monthly and ad hoc tracking and reporting to metrics.

Analyze trends and metrics to assess capital deployment. Review and assess multi-year capital projects return on investments. Develop, analyze and report financial and other data metrics in support of Global Wholesale FTTC and Success Based Capital Programs.

Monitor developments on an ongoing basis and provide updates on evolving trends and dynamics as appropriate.

Support for various elements of Verizons strategic planning process throughout the business year.

Responsible for research projects, potentially in specific subject areas.

Develop and provide subject matter expertise for metrics tracking.

PreferredSkills & Experience:

Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, related field or equivalent experience

2 plus years financial analysis experience

2 plus years exposure to financial systems

Strong analytical skills

Excellent written, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

Ability to communicate orally and in writing with others, deliver training segments as needed, receive and interpret complex information and respond appropriately

High proficiency in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Highly organized; solid time management skills, sets priorities and manages work flow

Must be able to create spreadsheets and analyze data

Must be able to create executive-level PowerPoint presentations

Ability to work effectively with others across multiple teams

Ability to multi-task and prioritize needs of the business

Ability to provide potential solutions by looking at data and business trends

SAP experience

Proactive leadership skills towards continuing product knowledge and education

Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Strong organizational, time management, project management, and negotiation skills
