RN or LPN Clinical Coordinator at Parsippany

Full Time RN or LPN Clinical Coordinator opportunity.

We are BAYADA Home Health Care, one of the nations premier Home Health companies, and we continue to grow at an unprecedented rate. Our Parsippany, NJ Managed Care Office has an exciting opportunity for a RN or LPN with strong communication skills to join our team as a Clinical Coordinator. The work hours will be 10:30am to 7:00pm, Monday through Friday. This is an office based position and does not require travel.

As a Clinical Coordinator, you will work to ensure continued care for our clients. Responsibiliites include:

• Receive & document incoming referral calls to set up home care
• Function as facilitator between Case Managers, Discharge Planners, Clients Service Managers & Clinical Managers
• Gather clinical information for submission to insurance companies
• Obtain and track insurance authorizations
• Function as a client advocate
• Use sound clinical judgement on a daily basis
• Follow up regularly with insurance companies regarding outstanding authorizations
• Mentor and provide guidance to non-clinical team members

You must be comfortable working in a team oriented environment, and possess an all hands on deck attitude.

* Active RN or LPN license in NJ
* Excellent communication and telephone skills
* Demonstrated ability to build internal & external relationships
* Ability to work 10:30am - 7:00pm on an ongoing basis

Experience in the following areas :
* Hi-tech (trach/vent) pediatric care
* Home care
* Discharge planning
* Case management
* Insurance
