SUMMARY
Responsible for creating a “Wow" experience when leading interactions with internal and external customers by consistently exceeding expectations. Provides performance improvement consulting services to assist management and teams in achievement of business goals. Recommends appropriate performance improvement interventions that are systemic, business-driven, and customer and shareholder-value focused.

- Initiates and manages projects to ensure they are delivered on time and on budget.
- Builds and maintains credibility and influence with business partners.
- Supports strategic efforts of management team to facilitate the most efficient and effective path toward achieving desired results.
- Consults with internal clients to identify training or non-training solutions to close performance gaps.
- Applies a systematic approach to define required performance, determine existing performance, analyze the cause or factors that limit performance, and recommend or implement solutions that focus on and deliver business results.
- Manages the design, development, presentation, measurement and evaluation of Insperity Performance Improvement programs.
- Customizes performance development programs to meet specific regional and remote needs; and continuously updates and enhances these programs.
- Develops and implements measurement standards to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and the transfer of skills to the job.
- Builds relationships with other departments to form a seamless integration of service delivery.
- Analyzes input/requests for future training and development opportunities; proposes action accordingly.
- Through research activities and needs analyses, manages the continual upgrading of existing programs, services and plans for future client training requirements.
- Assists in the development of new and existing training specialists through mentoring, coaching and training.
- Facilitates training programs or other interventions when necessary.
- Demonstrates the values and mission of Insperity throughout the department and the company.
- Participates in the vendor selection process.
- Coordinates efforts related to the promotion of Insperity Performance Improvement services and programs to clients.
- Provides input, as needed, in the selection of Insperity Performance Development/Training Specialist staff.
Job Requirements
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor’s Degree is required. An advanced degree is preferred.
- Six to ten years of training experience including experience in design of curriculum and seminar programs is required.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS
- Principles and practices of personnel administration, including methods and techniques used in training assessment, design, development and measurement. Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles and HPT (Human Performance Technology) processes and methodologies. Ability to look at situations systemically taking into consideration the larger context including competing pressures, resource constraints and anticipated change.
- Management/supervisory experience required; knowledge of applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations, ordinances and policies.
- Communicating tactfully and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent presentation and group facilitation skills. Correct English usage, grammar, spelling, vocabulary, punctuation and composition skills at a level necessary for satisfactory job performance; and word processing skills, preferably Word.
- Preparing clear, concise, thorough, meaningful and grammatically correct written reports, letters, memoranda, policies and other written documents. Problem solving ability; dealing with conflicts and problems constructively; communicating and presenting ideas clearly and concisely, orally and in writing, at a level necessary for satisfactory job performance.
- Establishing working relationships and interacting effectively with a wide range of people; working independently with limited direction; and maintaining effective work relations with those encountered in the course of employment.
