Supply Chain Planning Manager at Bridgewater

Job Summary: Lead the management of sales demand, manufacturing supply, and Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) for currently marketed products, new product launches and life-cycle management projects. Function as an exception based planning environment. Develop strategies and execute plans for product launch, continuity of supply, and life-cycle changes while optimizing inventory/asset management, safety stock management with a goal to ensure 100% Customer Service. As a Supply Chain Generalist, act as a Project Management Leader for supply chain projects that contribute value to patients, maximize business and organizational effectiveness through operational excellence, increased productivity and simplification of processes throughout the supply chain.Ability to exert influence and drive results across functions is necessary for successful tactical and project activities. This is a challenging role operating in a matrix environment in Pharm. Ops and Industrial Affairs that requires the ability to influence and gain commitment and action from others not under direct control. Acting as a liaison, interacting, facilitating and networking between all levels of management, across multiple organizations/functions (Manufacturing, Development, QA/QC, Supply Chain, Global Project Management, and Commercial Operations within the company), both domestic and foreign, for assigned products to drive supply chain management for products within defined scope Monitor and report on overall product supply and manufacturing process performance. Job Duties & Responsibilities: Leadership of Monthly Supply Chain (Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) cross functional meetings to ensure that sales forecasting is effectively developed for USA marketed products within the defined areas of product scopeo DRP Demand planning is performed for the relevant site of manufacture and supply with a goal to ensure 100% customer service. Developing contingency scenarios and plans and gaining organizational consensus to meet ever changing market and manufacturing site needs. Ensure M2 is updated regularly with SAP and validate and approve demand plan. Populate demand transmission tools with demand forecast for each material within individual scope. Manage using exception-based management techniques.o Lead the development and approval of operational forecasts that more closely reflect recent or potential market demand trends. Generation and maintenance of DRP sales forecasts in the SAP APO DP module.o Maintain and improve our service level agreements with sites of manufacture, revise agreements as needed to optimize inventory/asset management, manage safety stocks and and provide KPI reporting by brand. Inventory Management of assigned products to agreed inventory levels and provide regular estimates and forecasts of planned inventory levels.o Purchasing of products is executed for the Sanofi USA commercial portfolio from Inter-company and certain External Manufacturing sites. Initiate purchase orders in SAP to confirm demand plano Seek effective resolution of critical issues through recommendations, reports and long-term manufacturing strategies and provide product leadership across the company. o Look for opportunities to rationalize SKUs, and develop business cases to support Project Management leader that utilizes US Supply Chain processes and tools o New product launches and life-cycle management projects serving as Operations Launch Team leader for cross functional team to ensure product availability that meets or exceeds Pharm. Operations timelines. o Manage supply chain (end to end) to identify opportunities that add value to patients, to improve and simplify supply chain processes, evaluate and drive savings opportunities, leverage network relationships (internal/external), ensuring active engagement and innovation within the organization.o Manages implementation of label copy changes, changes to current packaging components, packaging Bills Of Materials, changes to shipping mode, pallet patterns and direct shipments from supply site to USA.. Develops Time & Events activities with Drug Regulatory, Package Engineering, Label Copy Control both locally and Interco Drug Product Sites. Acts as a liaison, interact, facilitate and network between all levels of management, across multiple organizations/functions, both domestic and foreign, for assigned products to drive supply chain management for products within defined scope.o Facilitate actions plans for day-to day operations and project tasks from Pharms Operations, Industrial Affairs and R&D associates that are NOT under direct control to ensure operational and project success.o Collaboration, teamwork and communication skills are critical to facilitate and network at all levels of management. Manage within sanofi aventis US LLC Compliance standards and US Supply Chain organizational SOPs for all Supply Chain processes and activities. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE:Bachelors degree from an accredited four-year college or university3 - 7 Years of experience in the pharmaceutical supply chain / manufacturing industry. Certification by the Purchasing and Planning associations preferred.The company reserves the right to consider candidates not possessing these minimum requirements but who possesses an equivalent combination of comparable education and experience. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE: Working knowledge of pharmaceutical primary and secondary manufacturing processes Solid understanding of the commercial drug supply chain from raw material suppliers through distribution Understanding of manufacturing finances and processes and ability to apply to supply chain management and changes and improvement projects Experience with product supply and life-cycle planning Basic knowledge of regulatory processes and requirements Expertise in project management tools including software solutions Skilled in scenario planning, risk / benefit analysis, contingency planning and problem solving Strong management and leadership potential Strong willingness to drive change as well as good internal marketing and communication skills Strong negotiation and communication skills Ability to motivate and influence resources that do not report directly to incumbent Excellent numeric, systems (especially SAP/R3 and SAP-APO, SAP Business Warehouse) and project management skills and basic understanding of financial function Read and speak a foreign language, French preferableLEADERSHIP SUCCESS PROFILES & COMPANY VALUES:o Demonstrated high standards of integrity, professionalism, and commitment o Strong team facilitation and relationship building skillso Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and decision making skillso Demonstrated ability to communicate vertically and horizontally within an organizationo Ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external partners o Demonstrated ability to anticipate future consequences of scenarios and identify mission critical issues M*
