As a result of our most recent expansion, we have an immediate opportunity for top performing Quality Control Underwriters in the Woodcliff Lake, NJ areawith quality control/assurance underwriting background or loan originations (front-end) mortgage underwriting experience.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of five years of quality control/assurance underwriting background or loan originations (front-end) mortgage underwriting experience.

• Conventional loan underwriting skills & familiarity with Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac underwriting guidelines.

• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to follow detailed instructions, and adhere to policies & procedures.
• Excellent proficiency in business letter writing skills. NOTE: Underwriters will be required to prepare business-quality letters properly outlining & supporting underwriting decisions.
• Obtain a passing score (>80%) on an Underwriter Knowledge Assessment Test.
