Job Description
The Central Director Revenue Management has responsibility for all aspects of the revenue / yield management of assigned hotels based on established brand best practices. He/She will work closely with the leadership of their assigned hotels to analyze historical and forecasted performance, develop pricing strategies, monitor and manage rates and inventory, maintain pricing and distribution systems, measure and track performance of strategies, summarize and communicate progress to property and brand leadership.Job Requirements
Abilities/Key Competencies/Skills- Analytical - ability to review numbers and draw conclusion about past and future trends
- Hotel Revenue Management - familiarity with terminology in the industry and department
- Multi-tasking/Organization - ability to manage multiple activies in parallel with proper follow up on status. Managing across various management levels, time management and prioritization of tasks is important
- Ownership - take the lead to track down and resolve issues, know when to escalate when issues are outside their control to address. Is able to operate efficiently with minimal direct supervision.
- Communication - ability to interact remotely with property and with brand resources at a fairly senior level
- IT - needs to be comfortable with computer systems and electronic distribution channels.
- College degree
- 3-5 year hotel revenue management
