Classification: Attorney-licensed II 4-9 yrs exp

Compensation: $135,000.99 to $165,000.99 per year

Financial services corporation in Jersey City seeks strong Corporate attorney that ALSO has had some exposure to IP (Preferably-with Patent Registrations).M&A attorney who as part of their due diligence work has had to liaise with IP attorneys and experts in the IP field would be considered. Manage, draft and negotiate various commercial contracts, including customer documentation, licensing, technology procurement and support, non-disclosure, market data, exchange and clearing agreements and securities industry form agreements.Assist with in-house and outside counsel legal team in the management of companys global intellectual property portfolio, including application drafting, registration and defense of business methods patents and trademarks.Liaise among business and various support and control divisions of company, including IT, Tax, Compliance, Finance, Risk and Operations.Provide support on general corporate, M&A, antitrust and intellectual property matters in US and Latin America.Assist UK-based company in-house lawyers on US law queries. Engage and manage outside counsel. Intermediate Contracts, Basic Trademark-Database & Electronic Docketing Program, Basic Patent - US Provisional, Utility, Design and PCT Patents, Basic None, Licensed Attorney, None.
