The qualified candidate will work in both the Sewell and Voorhees locations. The Optician ensures patient/customer satisfaction by providing quality customer service throughout each interaction.

A successful candidate will be self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented with an ability to multitask while working in a fast-paced environment.

Job duties include:

Interpretation of prescriptionsCollection of eye measurements including corneal width and thicknessHelping patients/customers select eyeglasses and lens treatments including tints and coatingsCreating work orders to ensure delivery of the proper lenses/framesAdjusting frames to ensure proper fitCompleting minor repairs on framesKeeping track of orders, prescriptions, and inventory

Minimum Experience:

Preferred Experience:

• Knowledge of vision plans
• Experience dispensing and measuring
• License preferred, but not required
• Edging experience not required
• Reliable, team player.
• Possess a high level of attention to detail.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
Excellent customer service.Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Strong written and oral communication skills.
