D&B offers exciting career opportunities and we are currently hiring a PMO Program Manager for our Short Hills, NJ location. The PMO Program Manager’s responsibilities are as follows:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- This role will play a lead role the Global Technology PMO function to implement methodologies and deliver best practice standards in program/project management across the portfolio. This includes:
- Supporting the Tech PMO Lead with defining, planning, organizing, staffing, implement policies, procedures, and supervising a global PMO function across Technology. This function’s primary aim is to facilitate a single view of our "portfolio" reporting and management.
- Definition of appropriate best practice project management methodologies and standardization across the program that will provide consistent approach to project delivery through the use project management tools, processes and practices.
- Facilitating PMO meetings to ensure mutual understanding of project deliverables for the Technology portfolio.
- Participation in required Governance Boards (e.g. Steering Committee Meetings, Program Leadership Meetings) to provide recommendations and project governance perspective. Required to work closely with cross functional Leaders.
- May be required to manage some PMO resources.
Job Requirements
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 7-10 years’ experience as a Program Manager, Senior Project Manager, Senior Business Analyst or related fields. Person should have played past roles as described in the job description.
- Has expert knowledge in the following functional areas:
- Program management
- Process reengineering and business transformation
- Portfolio reporting and project reporting
- Metric definition and process implementation
- SDLC implementation
- Financial management and analysis
- Strategy development
- Change management
- Proven track record of successful project implementation at global firms.
- Strong interpersonal & leadership skills with heavy experience in dealing with senior management.
- Strong presentation skills including creating well executed executive management materials.
- Significant departmental responsibilities in a global company around people processes, financial management processes/ discipline, and strategy development.
- Must have proven track record and ability to analyze and to identify areas of opportunities complete the root cause analysis and determine best path forward.
- Demonstrated interpersonal & leadership skills with heavy experience in dealing with senior management and all level including across matrix teams.
- Strong presentation skills including creating well executed executive management materials.
- Ability to effectively communicate ideas in both written and spoken form to executive staff, business sponsors, managers, and technical resources in clear concise language that is appropriate to the target audience.
- HP Project and Portfolio Management Center (PPM), Microsoft SharePoint, Visio, Excel, Advanced Microsoft Power Point and MS Project.
