Sodexo is seeking a Retail Manager 3 for Stevens Institute of Technology, The Innovation University, is a premier, private research university situated in Hoboken, New Jersey overlooking the Manhattan skyline. The Retail Manager will provide oversight to 15 Sodexo, union frontline (hourly) employees and five student employees all while managing Sodexos retail program including two Sodexo branded concepts. This manager will report directly to an on-site General Manager. We are seeking candidates with superior customer service skills and a strong front-of-the-house presence. Prior experience with Blackboard POS systems are preferred along with prior dining hall or catering experience.

The Retail Manager will work primarily a Monday through Friday schedule of approximately 8:00 am to 6:00 pm but extreme flexibility will be needed to work some evenings, weekends and holidays in order to ensure that business demands are met.

Maintains food quality and customer service in a cash handling retail food operation that includes branded concepts, in-house formats and signature designs. May assume GMs responsibilities and authority in his/her absence. Assists in maintenance of cash control and payroll records. Assists in supporting the financial/HR functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years of work experience in concessions, retail sales, or store operations.

Sodexo will require a background check and may require a drug screen for this position.
