Overview
The marketing trainee will support marketing, communications, and public relations efforts targeted to insurance agents/brokers, wealth advisors, and current and prospective high-net-worth clients. As part of the Field and Strategic Marketing Team, the trainee will work closely with local territory managers, product specialists, risk consultants, and claims teams to understand company initiatives and quickly translate them into marketing and communications materials to support their successful introduction as well as the overall ACE PRS brand. The trainee will also play a hands-on role in tracking the effectiveness of efforts with the opportunity to draw conclusions and suggest ideas for improvement.

Specific Responsibilities

Write, edit, and proofread content for use in:
Marketing flyers, brochures, and newsletters for agents and customers
Announcements and presentations for internal staff and agents
Website portals for staff, agents, customers, and the general public
Press releases and interview talking points
Social media venues (potentially)
Conduct background research for:
Competitor analyses and comparisons
Thought leadership white papers and articles

Track and/or maintain:
Marketing material usage and reordering
Online marketing and communication material archive
Public website traffic and search engine optimization
Client testimonial opportunities
Marketing budget
Company logo requests from agents

Help plan and coordinate logistics of:
National agent council meeting
Event Sponsorships Targeting HNW customers and referral sources (wealth advisors)
Contribute to marketing innovation and strategy sessions

Skills
Strong writing skills and pace
Understanding of marketing and sales concepts
Willingness to learn the personal insurance business
Word, PowerPoint, and Excel proficiency; Photoshop and Dreamweaver experience is a plus
