We are currently seeking (6) Pharmacy Technicians for a long-term assignment, Temporary (possible) to permanent position –MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE STATE NEW JERSEY IN GOOD STANDING, APPLICANTS THAT ARE NOT REGISTERED WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED AS IT IS A REQUIRMENT OF THE POSITION.

 

Hours: (2) Positions 6:30am-2:30pm or (4) positions 1:00pm-9:30pm(10:30pm) No Weekends, No Holidays

 

• Enter prescription information into computer application using keyboard and mouse
• Compare date and quantity information on prescription to computer record and correct as needed. 
• Follow written and verbal instructions on data entry/verification process.

• Basic math and verbal skills. 
• Knowledgeable of basic computer skills including entering information on a keyboard and use of mouse.
• Superior attention to detail and ability to focus on only relevant information.
• Ability to maintain focus on tedious or repetitive tasks while producing high quality (error free) work. 
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• NJ Pharmacy Certification

 

 

Physical Requirements

• Normal office activity including keyboarding, interacting with others, participating in meetings, extended periods of sitting in an open office environment.
• Light physical effort, but should be able to lift and move up to 10 lbs. 
• Ability to work extended hours (overtime may be required)
