We are presently seeking a Pharmacy Technician to perform laboratory and pharmacy related duties under the direct supervision of an authorized Nuclear Pharmacist.  This job involves working in a clean room as well as occupational exposure to radiation.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Follow company Standard Operating Procedures as well as current Good Manufacturing Practices
• -Clean and maintain controlled sterile environments
• -Perform testing on various lab equipment to ensure functionality
• -Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drug inventory
• -Compound sterile pharmaceutical preparations
• -Dispense time-critical, patient-specific unit doses
• -Prepare packages for delivery to hospitals and clinics
• -Answer phones and respond to customer inquiries

 

Job Requirements

Qualifications Include:

• Ability to lift 60 pounds
• Be able to work a shifts: 8pm-4am, 3am-11am (M-F) plus some weekends
• Basic computer skills – Microsoft Office
• Excellent customer service skills
