Loadrunner Engineer at Jersey

Candidate will be hands on in the design, analysis, development, coding, testing, debugging, documenting programming and testing focus to satisfy business requirements. They should be proficient in application development for a specific technology. This position is for a seasoned, fully proficient resource. The team supports employee communication and programming for all lines of business at the worlds largest financial institution.

Responsibilities:

• Perform end to end performance tests and analysis


• Develop test scripts based upon business requirements and processes, in line with defined workflows and use cases


• Process transactions from system entry to exit


• Test application performance delivered across applications and workflows


• Test applications to demonstrate that relevant system performance is as expected


• Assist in designing and ensuring overall integrity of the testing strategy


• Work with appropriate business and technology leads to determine the acceptable range for test results and performance


• Help design, develop and implement test plans, scripts, tools using the detailed business requirements document provided by the business analysts


• Work with business and technology leads to identify the appropriate data for testing, and prepare that data for the test cases


• Assist Application Developers and technical support staff in identifying and resolving problems


• Facilitate resolution and communication of cross-application/organization architectural issues and decisions

• Advanced understanding of LoB technology drivers and their impact on architecture design


• Advanced understanding of performance and monitoring


• Proficient in more than one specific infrastructure technology


• Advanced troubleshooting skills


• Must be able to assemble technology solutions and effectively define and implement a working architecture


• Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, launch and deliver multiple IT projects on time and within budget


• Ability to articulate to more experienced management a technical strategy in clear, concise, understandable terms


• Understands were they Infrastructure Bottle Necks will occur


• Understands the difference between UAT vs. Production


• Ideally experience with dyna Trace and / or Shunra (Shunra: Custom focus - Ability to Test Mobile Applications & Test Data Migration Centers)


• 2 must be convertible to FTE


• Thorough knowledge of Load Runner (SME)


• Experience in developing Scripts with Multiple Scripting tools for performance testing / Query Plans - Loadrunner and QTP


• Complete awareness of Software Development Life Cycle


• Strong experience in developing Performance Test Plans and Performance test Scenarios using requirements and design documents while specifying Testing Overview, Approach, Strategy, Scope, Architecture, Environment, Roles and Responsibilities.


• Experience in traditional Web-Based performance testing


• Knowledge of the following Monitoring tools Sitescope, Wily Introscope, Other J2EE monitoring tools and SQL Server Profiler


• Experience of LoadRunner & Performance Center setup / installations / Administration / Troubleshoot / R& D


• Weblogic Tuning, JVM Tuning, Performance analysis & Capacity planning


• Knowledge of Shunra and/or dyna Trace is a plus


• Strong knowledge of AJAX Testing and MS Silverlight
