Lead Learning Specialist at Piscataway

Job Description

*This position may reside in any one of our office locations within the Cablevision footprint*

The Lead Learning Specialist will drive strategy, direction, and design of training deliverables across multiple products/services and delivery mediums. This individual will act as the subject matter expert (SME) and provide technical expertise at an exceptional level for audiences which may include, Sales, Field Operations, Contact Center, Training employees, etc. and develop mastery level knowledge in all products, product upgrades, and services, as well as related policies, procedures and best practices. Help establish and lead the standard training practices while mentoring, coaching and developing the Learning Specialists. Instruction delivery may include all types of modalities, including face-to-face and virtual classroom with the goal of effectively transferring knowledge so that our employees can successfully apply learned concepts to their assigned duties at Cablevision. This role will report to the Regional Training Director. This position will require frequent travel to various office locations within the Cablevision footprint as deemed necessary.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years experience and subject matter expertise in one or more of our key business areas within our regional footprint (Sales, Contact Center, and Field Ops).

A strong communicator and team player that can foster collaboration and build consensus across multiple constituencies.

Results oriented with strong administrative and process skills, flexibility and control in a constant and accelerating changing working environment.

This individual will need to be self-motivated and work effectively in cross-functional, dynamic project environments.

Must have an executive presence and business knowledge credibility.

A unique combination of leadership, consulting, training design and delivery, and podium skills is required. Ability to credibly work with our customers, gain their confidence and provide extraordinary service and support are critical to this position.

Knowledge of virtual facilitation tools preferred.

Previous experience utilizing LMS systems preferred.

Communicates tactfully and effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and WebEx.

Excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills essential.

Exceptional client service attitude focusing on professionalism and responsibility.

Be able to adapt to webinar format for teaching in a virtual environment, without person – to – person contact or the feedback experienced in a traditional classroom environment.

Recent instructional or presentation experience in virtual environments a plus.

Must have the ability to travel to various office locations within the Cablevision footprint.

Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Education preferred, minimum of 60 College credits required or military experience or technical/trade school certification.
