Job Description

JOB SUMMARY :

The Senior Analyst, Vendor Partnership assumes management for the identification & improvement of vendor supply chain performance. The team member fully participates in the coordination and execution of supply chain initiatives with the expectations to analyze current business processes, define improvement opportunities, present project proposals, and summarize project performance.

Key responsibilities include: implementation & oversight of vendor partnership projects; administration of vendor supply chain programs & compliance; and leadership of team of analysts responsible for vendor performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

1) Acts as the Vendor Partnership lead in evaluating, developing, and implementing supply chain projects and programs designed to improve operations, drive vendor performance, implement policies and address strategic business opportunities.

2) Execute analysis of supply chain performance for business categories, vendors, product and data flows, as well as other processes to value target the most significant opportunities for improvement and assist in decision making. Develop project plans and solutions for addressing key opportunities.

3) Prepare and present summaries about the impact of supply chain performance improvements. Secure support for investments in new processes, technologies and programs to deliver best-in-class supply chain performance.

4) Build effective teams and maintain positive relationships with internal partners to identify opportunities, define solutions, and initiate improvements through process design and new program introduction.

5) Coach and mentor team members to develop well-rounded and focused team players, who easily adapt to their professional environment and accomplish their personal professional goals.

Job Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or Operations, MBA Preferred

3-5 years Experience in Consumer products or Retail experience in inventory, buying, logistics or in consulting or supply chain management, including proven analytical experience

2-4 years Experience with proven analytical experience related to supply chain improvement, inventory planning, financial analysis, or strategic planning

2- 4 years Experience in Developing and presenting business cases for fact-based approach to driving change

PMP / Project Management certification a plus
