Our client, an innovator in the design and manufacture of airless dispensing systems for cosmetics, fragrances, sunscreens, lotions and technical products has an immediate opening in their Edison NJ facility for a Maintenance Mechanic on the 3rd shift.
 
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintenance of automated production and assembly machines in a manufacturing environment.
 
If selected, you would inspect, maintain and repair machinery and equipment used in PET plastics injection molding/blow molding and automated mechanical assembly of components into a finished product. This may include cleaning and lubrication; investigating quality issues and making recommendations to Engineering; replace and adjust items such as sensors, cylinders, bearings, belts and motors; troubleshooting and repair of control components and maintaining a safe work environment.
 
To succeed in this position, you will bring 3-5 years of experience in a mechanic position in a manufacturing environment. You will have the ability to read and understand blueprints, technical diagrams and operating manuals. Experience with injecting molding and blow molding is preferred. You should be a problem solver with strong communication skills.
