Job Description

Job is located in Troy Hills, NJ.

• Demonstrate advanced technical skills in Java/J2EE technologies
• General understanding of activities across the Application Development discipline
• Demonstrate solid understanding of contemporary architectures, design patterns, best practices, and computer programming techniques, such as Modular and Object-Oriented Programming
• Demonstrate excellent analytical, logical reasoning and problem solving skills
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrate excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead medium to large functional teams
• Must be a self-starter and should be able to initiate and complete assignments with little to no supervision
• Willing to make commitments and ability to consistently meet timelines
• Ability to consistently provide accurate effort estimates for work
• Demonstrate solid coaching and mentoring skills
• Strong knowledge of various SDLC methodologies and their respective advantages and trade-offs
• Demonstrate solid knowledge of latest trends in Web and Mobile computing technologies

Job experience:

• Minimum of 8 years of IT experience in an application development environment
• Experience leading a multi-site and/or off-shore development team
• Experience working on a large scale enterprise wide projects
• Experience with various software estimation techniques
• 4+ years of experience in performing high and low level project analysis and design
• 3+ years of experience using Unified Modeling Language (UML) and UML tools
• 3+ years of experience in Web service integration

Job Requirements

Must be a hands on J2EE Lead and good J2EE developer as well. Will be managing an on and off shore team totaling to 8 people. Basic Core Java experience needed.
