Histology Technician/Histotech - Per Diem at Eatontown

Job Description

Pathology Solutions, a growing regional provider of anatomical pathology services, is seeking a per diem Histology Technician to join our growing team in Eatontown, NJ. This is a per diem position with flexible hours available in the afternoons, evenings and weekends.

Essential job duties include but are not limited to:

Cuts blocks/tissue performing all technical procedures required to prepare tissue and slides in a timely and accurate manner while maintaining the highest standard of quality in tissue embedding, cutting of blocks (microtomy), H&E staining, special stains and immuno stains (immuno stains where applicable).

Maintains laboratory equipment in proper working order to ensure consistent, high quality function.

Job Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in science related field highly preferred.
• A minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in laboratory or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Histology certification ASCP required
•
