Classification: Business AnalystCompensation: DOE
The Senior Business Systems Analyst will work with business partners in the Global Sourcing and Merchandising organizations to define, plan, and implement Forecast/planning system solutions. A qualified candidates will be required to: Define and document application requirements to meet business needs and execute systems solutions to achieve business objectives. Facilitate business processes and re-engineering efforts for the Global Supply Chain organization. Work with business to define a consistent forecast & planning process Creation of proposals, requirements documents, functional specifications, test plans with test results. Define robust test plans, execute testing, document results, resolve issues and conduct end-user acceptance testing. Work with software vendors to schedule and implement software changes. Work effectively in a cross-team environment. Adapt to a dynamic business environment, proactively seeking ways to improve IT value to the organization. Work well in a global business environment, being able to communicate effectively with business associates across different cultures, time zones and languages. Keep current with industry trends and best practices Work in partnership with other sourcing team members to define consistent implementation that aligns with existing technical architecture Provide IT support for existing and planning tools.
Job Requirements
Qualifications: 10+ years of IT experience 2+ years of forecast & planning, S&OP application experience Strong analytical, creative problem solving skills Excellent written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal communication skills. SQL query experience is preferred Strong apparel industry experience is required Strong experience in supporting end users and business process design Demonstrates a sense of urgency, thoroughness and quality towards assigned tasks and goals.
