Job Description

Our client is currently seeking a Controller for their rapidly growing organization!

 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

 

• Management of all accounting staff including monthly, quarterly and yearly close

 

• Maintain strong relationship with all external auditors

 

• Budgeting and forecasting

 

• Ability to establish and document policies and procedures

 

• Strategic partner to the senior management team

 

 

 

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

 

• BS/BA in accounting or finance, CPA will have preference

 

• 10 years of progressive experience within a large company ($100MM plus)

 

• Experience in accounting for manufacturing, distribution, inventory control, production management, scheduling and sales

 

• Excellent mentor with excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

• Experience in working with large National Retailers and distributors in collection and chargeback capacities

 

• Working knowledge of EDI

 

• Experience working with foreign currency transactions, letters of credit, wire transfers and offshore vendors
