We are looking for talented and motivated individuals to join our team!We are looking for a very experienced Global Problem Leader to join our team and to be a "change agent" to help nurture and elevate the maturity level of the Problem Management practice. The Global Problem Leader will take strategic direction from the Global Head of Incident and Problem Management. S/he will be responsible for the expert and flawless tactical execution of global strategies as defined by the Global Head of Incident and Problem Management.This role will provide leadership to a group of Problem Managers and guidance on complex Problem Management issues. This role will directly manage high visibility, high impact problem initiatives, coordinate and manage various technical teams in order to drive improvements in service delivery and uptime throughout the global firm. The Global Problem Leader will be responsible for direct communications with business leaders and business technology groups to present proposals and progress on problem resolutions and acquire their support to drive initiatives.RESPONSIBILITIES-Manage the problem and major incident management teams in their resolution of all severity 1 incidents and determination of the underlying root cause. -Ensure that all significant incidents have a timely and thorough root cause investigation conducted, reviewed by senior management and leadership, and delivered across to stakeholders in the affected IT organizations. -Serve as a focal point of contact for operating company and business IT units to escalate operational problems and recurring incidents.-Conduct regular service review meetings with operating company IT shared services leads to discuss major incidents, problems, and trends and identify service improvements. -Setting team and individual goals, key performance indicators and metrics. -Ensuring performance reviews and development plans are implemented and executed on for all team members -Develop standard, ad hoc, and custom reports to satisfy business requests -Research alternative technologies and methods for reporting -Act as liaison between Business and Technology partners to ensure reports satisfy requirements-Perform peer reviews of others work prior to production -Lead a "Crisis" in the time of need in, which the individual is the point of contact for leadership QUALIFICATIONS-Bachelors Degree in Business, Computer Science, or Finance preferred -15 years of diverse technical experience, managing technical operations teams, technical architecture functions or technical project teams. -7 years in a senior management role interacting with technical and client teams. -Problem Management Leadership is preferred. -Must have strong Project Management experience preferably in a demanding, fast paced Fortune 200 Global organization -Demonstrated ability to communicate with senior technology and business teams. -Outstanding interpersonal and organization skills -Superior written and verbal communication skills -Must be a detail oriented, analytical, and an independent thinker-Professionalism and integrity -high ethical standards, to help our clients succeed -Ability to set priorities and deliver objectives without the need of day-to-day supervision -Must be able to work well under pressure-Must be comfortable interacting with technical teams, and have the ability to distill complex technical issues into understandable issues for senior executives -Must be comfortable interacting with and presenting to C suite executives -ITIL certification is required -Six Sigma is preferred Join TEKsystems and get your career on the fast track.
