Maintenance Technician- 2nd shift at Brunswick

Job Description



PURPOSE: Provide multi-skilled maintenance support to the organization while focused on continuously

improving Andersen Corporation manufacturing processes through best practice.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform maintenance activities on equipment that positively impacts on customer service, quality, cost reduction, productivity and product delivery.

Use necessary hand and power tools to take appropriate action to replace components, make adjustments and recalibrate machinery to resolve issues and restore equipment to operating condition

quickly and efficiently.



Work on a daily basis to meet current preventive maintenance compliance goals.

Understand function of PLC, drives and controls and have the ability to diagnose PLC programs, troubleshoot, inspect and clean components parts in PLC equipment.

Understands the components and characteristics of gearbox setups, problems with gears and gear boxes, and gearbox overhaul.

Inspect gears and gear units for lubrication problems and bearing failure

Strong knowledge and use of electrical test equipment and troubleshooting processes for electrical equipment and electrical systems.

Maintain complete and accurate up to date records of all maintenance activities including routine and preventive maintenance and unscheduled repairs.

Record parts and materials used in maintenance activities and order/requisition for new parts and materials as needed

Experience in reading prints and schematics coupled with an ability to investigate and troubleshoot circuitry issues

Must demonstrate an ability to learn equipment specifications and company standards by actively consulting associates, manuals, training and reference materials and adherence to company policies.

Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus
