We are looking for a fun, nurturing, energetic and patient  Assistant Teacher for our Infant Classroom.  Experience and commitment children ages newborn to 18 months is a must.  The hours for this position are 12:30 pm to 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Infant Teacher daily duties include:

• Meeting the individuals needs of the children, with special emphasis on feeding, hygiene and overall cleanliness.
• Parent communication.
• Participation in staff and training meetings.
• Designing appropriate room arrangements and decorations to support the goals and developmental level of the children in the classroom.
• Interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and learning.
• Presenting expectations that are appropriate to the child’s age and developmental level.
• Planning and implementing activities that develop self-esteem and social skills.
• Communicating appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff.
• Building teamwork.
• Using assessment tools.
• Committing to continuing education.

Job Requirements

 Assistant Teacher Qualifications:

•  High school diploma
• Prior experience preferred
• Minimum of 18 years of age
