Field: Power Distribution Analysis and Design for Mission Critical Power Systems

Power Technology Consultants, P.A. (PTC) has openings for two electrical engineers in our office located in Scotch Plains, New Jersey.

PTC is looking for an energetic and highly motivated engineer with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering.

ABOUT THIS EXCITING OPPORTUNITY:

You will work directly for the Principal of the firm who hasover 30 years experience in the study and design of Mission Critical Power Systems. The Principal will personally tutor and mentoryoutoward a high level of expertise and confidence.

You will acquire the analytical skills required for Mission Critical Power Systems analyses such as arc flash studies, short circuit current studies and protective device coordination studies.You will develop skills needed to read and prepare one-line diagrams and draw them on AutoCad. You will learn how to conduct power system surveys to obtain the data required for theseanalyses.As your skills develop, you will contribute to the design of Mission Critical Power Systems related to data centers and telecommunication facilities. You will analyze and design power distribution systems and on-site emergency generation.In addition, you will monitor the construction of your design and watch it become a reality.In time, you will advance to the position of Project Engineer and work directly with PTC clients performing project engineering tasks including making presentations, generating proposals, preparing construction bid packages, developing construction cost estimates and creating project schedules.WHY CONSIDER PTC?
