Job Description   This Research and Development Mechanical Engineer position is with a Fortune 500 Company with an hourly pay rate between $60-$70/hour located in Franklin Lakes, NJ.

Research and DevelopmentMechanical Engineer Job Description:

• This position is within the R&D organization of the Self-Administration Injection Systems (SAIS) platform of the Fortune 500s Medical – Pharmaceutical Systems. 

 

• You will work on a product development team developing and commercializing new or customized self-injectable devices for various pharmaceutical customers. 

 

• Participation in the generation and evaluation of new concepts and prototypes, including analysis and bench testing 

 

• Development of test methods and/or test fixtures to evaluate product performance. 

 

• Planning and Execution of design verification protocols, testing and reports Work with Suppliers to provide test fixtures, components, assemblies and prototypes

• Working in the medical device or drug delivery field, developing complex test/assembly fixtures, verifying and validating complex products via self developed test methods and helping in design and assembly of products under development.
