Job Classification: Contract This position is responsible for managing corporate projects in their PMO. The Senior Project Manager is the liaison between internal groups within the organization for small scale and large-scale projects, and may work with vendors and external clients to ensure projects are completed to specification, on time, within budget.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Clearly define and document project scope- Create project plans, identify dependencies, assign resources, and maintain and track throughout the lifecycle of the project- Manage project scope- Identify risks early and provide thoughtful and timely recommendations for risk avoidance and mitigation- Create, maintain and communicate as appropriate project risk and issue logs- Prepare accurate and timely project level reporting, and deliver to senior management and other stakeholders- Develop, execute and monitor project specific resource management plans- Prepare and track project budgetQualifications:- Hands on project management- Experience with technology and/or mortgage/mortgage servicing/financial industry - PMP certification a plus- Six Sigma certifications a plus Join TEKsystems and get your career on the fast track.
